Craig H. Colton, General Counsel

Craig Colton serves as General Counsel at Atlantic Capital Group. In addition to his role as a legal advisor, his activities include transaction structuring, investment due diligence and organizational planning.

Prior to joining ACG, Mr. Colton was a senior associate with DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary US LLP, a full service law firm operating across Asia, Europe and the United States, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, structuring and negotiating acquisitions and dispositions of real estate and other investments, corporate and partnership tax planning and real estate tax planning. He also worked for then United States Senator Spencer Abraham where he assisted in economic research and policy planning.

Mr. Colton holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan, a J.D., cum laude, from American University, and a L.L.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law.
